WELCOME TO THE SITE
Tim
White started drawing and painting when he was 5 years old. He
remembers that even at that early age thrill he received from creating
something with his hands. Tim also remembers thinking that drawing was
a talent that he wanted to pursue all through his life, and he has.
Tim
gained a reputation even in elementary school as an "artist." This
reputation carried into high school as well and he excelled in art as
a young man. After graduating high school Tim attended East
Tennessee State University (ETSU) in Johnson City, TN enrolled in the
art programs there. While attending ETSU he started his sign
painting business at an early age in 1979.
Based
in Blountville, TN, Tim White Sign Company has been in business since
April 1, 1979. Tim White is considered a "sign artist" meaning that he
does much more than cut letters or graphics on a computer and stick
them on boards. His training and more importantly, his
experience makes his work stand head and shoulders above other current
day sign shops or computer driven "quickie sign" places.
Each
year, Tim White Sign Company produces what Tim describes as "Sign
Art." Tim is not in the business of selling "price" but does pride
himself and Tim White Sign Company in creating some of the most
beautiful and one of a kind works that will set see here, on this
website, many of Tim White Sign Company's work over the past 25 plus
